Directions to Felslindenhof

Google Maps should lead you reliably to Felslindenhof. Our exact address is Wolfshoferamt 13, 3572 St. Leonhard am Hornerwald (Link)
You can see from the satellite image that our farm is one of many , which are scattered in a beautiful landscape. You can recognize him by the lavender garden at his feet. The roadside where you can park is marked.

There is also a parking space. It is a pleasant 10-minute walk from the farm.

Please do not expect tour center standards. We are a very small team, so we can neither welcome you personally nor offer guided tours.

Not the entire courtyard is open to visitors. Therefore, please respect our recognizable private area on the farm. Put your dog on a leash everywhere, our cats will thank you! A herd of suckler cows grazes next to the lavender field. Here the same rules apply as on alpine pastures: the dog owner is fully responsible.

Sale from the farm

Start: Saturday, June 25. Daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
End: July 20Right next to the distillery in the barn, we set up a market stall that is independent of the weather, where we offer our popular lavender syrup for tasting and purchase. All other natural products from our manufactory are also available there for you to taste and test: essential oils, soaps, cosmetics, floral waters, room sprays and much more - everything first-hand.

Our online shop is of course open regardless of time and location.

Harvest progress

End of June: 28/29/30 June are our Lostage. Experience has shown that the lavender garden at the court is far enough for the first step. The required amount of flowers that are not fully open for drying is harvested.

First week of July: The lavender that has now blossomed in the lavender garden is cut for the syrup production.

July 9th: Now the great lavender field is in full bloom and smells intoxicating. This splendor is intended for oil distillation.

Dry, sunny days are now in demand. Only such are harvested to capture the full range of valuable active ingredients and aroma.

09:00 to 11:00: Harvest in the field, then transport to the distillery.

11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: First distillation on the farm in the barn

2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.: Second distillation

Be in the right place at the right time and experience everything up close!

20. July: End of harvest season and farm sales.

You are welcome to capture the atmospheric ambience for your private memories.The lavender field is cared for in an exemplary manner by the diligent hands of the Buhl family. You will find a tip box for them. Additional recognition in this form is always a pleasure.

In general, we ask for appreciation for the facility. Please do not cut lavender or damage any shrubs.
