The witch hazel extract has a mild haemostatic and anti-inflammatory effect, which is why it promotes the healing of superficial skin irritations. In addition, due to its astringent properties, it tightens the skin and protects it naturally from sagging and aging.
Flower waters are obtained from the steam distillation of essential oils and, like these, are among nature's particularly healing treasures. That is why we have replaced the usual proportion of water in our recipes with the finest organic hydrolates made from lavender and Damask rose. The two floral waters not only provide the skin with moisture, but also have a nurturing, balancing, calming and anti-inflammatory effect.
Shea butter and betaine moisturize the skin and regenerate the lipid barrier. They nourish the skin in general and make it look smoother and firmer.
