The Himalayan cedar is a species of conifer from the pine family and is native to the Himalayan region between western Pakistan and eastern Afghanistan. It grows at altitudes between 1300 and 3000 meters above sea level. The oil is harvested and distilled all year round.
Cedarwood oil is used in aromatherapy and in the manufacture of cosmetics. It has a warm, round wood tone and has an aromatherapeutic strengthening and harmonizing effect.
