The real laurel or spice laurel is a plant species of the genus laurel within the laurel family and grows throughout the Mediterranean region. The laurel is an evergreen shrub or tree and can grow up to 10 meters tall. The leathery, shiny leaves smell aromatic. The essential oil is extracted from them.
The laurel oil has a warm, spicy, eucalyptus-like scent and spreads a clarifying, invigorating, solemn and dignified atmosphere. It strengthens not only on the psychological level, but also in the case of a weakened physical constitution, approaching infections and colds.
